2. What these terms cover
These terms apply to the purchase of PW Booking Pro, an add-on (plugin) for WordPress. The free version, PW Booking, is downloaded free of charge from WordPress.org and is not covered by a purchase. Help with setup and websites is sold under Pretty Websites’ general terms and conditions.
3. The product
- You buy a licence for one website (one domain) for 12 months at a time.
- The licence gives you access to download PW Booking Pro, to updates and to email support during the licence period.
- PW Booking Pro requires WordPress 6.5 or later, PHP 7.4 or later and the free PW Booking. Online payment requires a Stripe account, and SMS requires a GatewayAPI account. You pay Stripe and GatewayAPI fees directly to them.
- You can try all features on the demo pages of this website before you buy.
4. Prices and VAT
Prices are in Danish kroner (DKK) and shown excluding VAT. VAT is added at checkout based on where you are:
- Consumers in the EU/EEA pay VAT at the rate of their own country.
- Businesses in the EU outside Denmark with a valid VAT number pay no VAT (reverse charge). Enter your VAT number at checkout.
- Customers in Denmark pay 25% Danish VAT.
- Customers outside the EU pay no Danish or EU VAT. Any local taxes or duties are your own responsibility.
- PW Booking Pro: DKK 1,196 excl. VAT for the first year. Then DKK 796 excl. VAT a year.
- PW Booking Pro + setup: DKK 3,196 excl. VAT for the first year (of which DKK 2,400 is for setup). Then DKK 796 excl. VAT a year.
The total, including any VAT, is shown before you pay. No other fees are added. We give at least 30 days’ notice by email of any price change before your next renewal.
5. Payment
You pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or MobilePay through our payment provider Stripe. The first payment is charged when the purchase is completed. The annual renewal is charged automatically to the same payment method on the anniversary of your purchase. Stripe stores your payment details for the renewal. We do not see or store them ourselves.
6. Delivery
You receive a receipt and a link to download PW Booking Pro at the email address you provided. This normally happens right away and no later than within 1 business day. Contact us if you haven’t received anything.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers in the EU/EEA
You generally have a 14-day right of withdrawal. For digital content delivered immediately, the right of withdrawal lapses once you have downloaded the product, if you expressly agreed at purchase that delivery may begin and accepted that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal (EU Consumer Rights Directive, article 16(m); Danish Consumer Contracts Act, section 18(2)(13)). If you have not downloaded the product, you can withdraw by writing to us within 14 days.
When buying setup, we only start work within the withdrawal period if you ask us to. If you withdraw after we have started, you pay for the part of the setup that has been done.
Customers outside the EU/EEA and business customers
Business customers (purchases with a company registration or VAT number) and customers outside the EU/EEA have no statutory right of withdrawal under these terms. Mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence still apply.
8. Licence and renewal
- PW Booking Pro is released under the GNU General Public License (GPL) version 2 or later, like WordPress.
- The licence is a subscription that renews automatically for 12 months at a time at DKK 796 excl. VAT until you cancel. We send an email reminder before the renewal.
- Cancellation: You can cancel at any time via the link in your receipt (Stripe’s customer portal) or by writing to kontakt@prettywebsites.dk. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for. Periods already paid for are not refunded.
- If you cancel, the plugin keeps working, but you no longer get updates and support.
- To use the plugin on more websites, you need one licence per website.
9. Support
Support is given by email on business days, and we usually reply within 2 business days. Support covers help with installation, settings and bugs in PW Booking Pro. It does not cover the design of your website, bugs in other plugins or themes, or setting up your Stripe or GatewayAPI account. That kind of help can be bought separately.
10. Complaints about defects
Consumers have a 2-year right to complain about defects under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. If there is a bug in PW Booking Pro, we fix it in an update. If it cannot be fixed within a reasonable time, you can get your money back. Complaints must be made within a reasonable time after you discovered the defect. Write to kontakt@prettywebsites.dk.
11. Liability
You are responsible for backing up your website, testing updates and for the data you collect about your clients, including having a privacy policy. Pretty Websites is not liable for indirect losses such as lost revenue, lost bookings or lost data. Our liability is limited to the amount you have paid for the licence. These limitations do not apply where mandatory law provides otherwise.
12. Personal data
We use your name, email and billing details to deliver the product, send updates and comply with Danish bookkeeping law. Read more in our privacy policy.
PW Booking and PW Booking Pro store your clients’ booking data in your own WordPress database. You are the data controller for that data.
13. Complaints and governing law
Please contact us first at kontakt@prettywebsites.dk, and we’ll find a solution. As a consumer you can also complain to the Danish Complaints Board, Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. Consumers in other EU countries can also contact the European Consumer Centre in their own country. These terms are governed by Danish law, without limiting the mandatory consumer protection of your country of residence.
